New Moon in Taurus

New Moon in Taurus

Tomorrow, Wednesday April 26th, we will experience another new moon   this one in Taurus. New moons are about new beginnings, an opportunity to reset our internal GPS system if we’ve gotten off course. Taurus is an earth sign, and we can take this literally. Getting grounded and spending some time outdoors would be a great way to connect with the energy of this new moon. Ruled by the love goddess, Venus, Taurus is a sign that loves texture, fragrances, and luxury. This would be the perfect time to get a massage, go to a spa, get a facial or splurge on something special just for you. Most of us have really busy schedules today, but try to find a little time where you can to do something that relaxes you and gives you a sense of peace and serenity.

Taurus is the natural ruler of the 2nd House of money and possessions, so take a look at your beliefs about money, abundance, and what you believe you deserve.  Use some of my favorite Louise Hay affirmations, “my income is constantly increasing” and “money comes to me in expected and unexpected ways.”

And last but certainly not least, Mercury will go direct next Wednesday May 3rd. Interestingly, there is a connection between this new moon in Taurus and Mercury retrograde. As most of us know Mercury retrograde can cause all kinds of communication problems and the body part connected with Taurus is the throat. This reminds me of some advice I was given years ago. Does it need to be said? Does it need to be said now? And, does it need to be said by me? Something to think about.
