Tools for the Spirit

Tools for the Spirit

We have tools to support our body   like hammers and drill guns. We have tools to support our mind   like calculators and computers. Doesn’t it follow then that we would have tools to support our spirit? And yet so many people fail to understand the importance of these spiritual assists, or worse yet, believe that it’s somehow weak or wrong to support one’s spiritual life.

Body Mind & Soul is where you can shop for the tools of the spirit. So this subject is not only close to our heart, but it is the heart of what we do here. We provide support for people on their spiritual journeys, without judgment, wherever their individual paths may lead.

Our crystal teacher, Anna Silver, likes to use the analogy of training wheels on a bicycle. “When we’re first learning a new skill, we don’t know how it’s supposed to look or feel. We aren’t really sure where we’re going or how to get there. Riding a bike is like this. We use training wheels to help us experience this brand new sensation and give us a taste of what we’re trying to learn. They allow us to meet with enough early success to prevent us from giving up altogether. Crystals and other spiritual tools are like training wheels for the soul. They make it possible for us to navigate an otherwise invisible path until our spiritual senses have adjusted and matured. When we’re ready and able to take off on our own, we find that the tools will naturally fall away.”

So what is a spiritual tool exactly? What defines it?

Spiritual tools have two main qualities.

First, they are anything that supports you on your journey of spiritual discovery and evolution.

They can be a thing, like a beautiful oracle deck or favorite crystal.

They can be a person, like an amazing new author or teacher.

They can be a practice, like meditation or yoga.

They can even be a place, like our store or website.

Second, they are there for as long as you need their encouragement and support.

All of our products and classes here at Body Mind & Soul are carefully curated to be beautiful outer manifestations of your rich and diverse inner worlds   i.e. spiritual tools. In fact, that’s one of our core values:

  • We promote harmony and balance through mindful living.
  • We create opportunities for engagement, connection, and community through products and classes that enrich the soul.
  • We provide guidance and support to our customers in their unique journey toward spiritual awakening and well being.
  • We cultivate prosperity and integrity as equal contributors in our success.
  • We curate our selection of quality products to be outer manifestations of your diverse inner worlds.
