Description

These stunning obsidian spheres are perfectly carved and polished to a high shine. Their beautiful black contours are reflective and elegant. They are well suited to scrying, using in protection grids, or to direct/reflect qi in certain areas of the home. They also look beautiful sitting out in a room.

Obsidian is a type of volcanic glass formed from molten lava. This crystal is excellent for psychic protection and grounding. In the past, obsidian was sought after for scrying, a method of divination.

Obsidian has been used by shamans and healers to make contact with the spirit world. Because black obsidian has a very strong grounding energy, it may not always be comfortable to work with. If you have difficulty with it, you may prefer to work with Apache Tears, another type of obsidian with a more gentle energy.
