Apache Tear Rough for grief & loss, acceptance, safety
A companion for those moving through the grief process, and a healer for all kinds of losses, Apache tear is a unique type of obsidian that promotes positive change.
Apache Tears are generally a little rougher in appearance than solid Black Obsidian.
The meaning of their name comes from an old American Indian Legend.
It is said that certain members of an Indian tribe were pursued by the Cavalry, and although they fought bravely, they were outnumbered. So rather than being captured they jumped off the cliff. As the grieving women of the tribe cried, their large tears fell to the earth and formed into these dark, rough obsidian stones.
Apache tears can also be used for psychic protection and will help absorb negative energy. And also like many dark stones, they are good for grounding.
This listing is for 1 piece of rough Apache tear, approximately 1/4" to 1" in diameter.
