Yoga Nidra is an ancient and powerful meditation practice that is done resting comfortably on the floor. Here, you will be guided through specific body and breath relaxation techniques designed to effortlessly lead you into a state of non-doing and deep rest.
As the body shifts into progressively deeper, yet conscious states of relaxation; the brainwaves naturally lengthen to those found in dream states. This slowing of the brainwaves allows you to disengage from thoughts, permitting the body’s innate chemistry to produce a whole-body sense of wellness and ease. It is here that we are given the opportunity to re-pattern our thoughts and emotions.
The result is a highly regenerative state where the energy normally burned by the mind is fully freed to heal and restore you. This healing energy of the body, freed from the mind, can also become a spiritual force, unlocking inner guidance, knowing and insight.
