Join us for a meditative sound experience as we begin a new lunar cycle.
When the moon is “new,” it is positioned between Earth and the sun, with the illuminated side of the moon facing away and the shadowed side making it invisible in the night sky. This time of darkness is an opportunity to pause and consider what seeds or intentions you want to plant for the month ahead.
This month, the moon becomes new in the airy and often misunderstood sign of Gemini. Gemini is Mercurial, inquisitive and able to hold space for paradox and duality. This new moon gives us a chance to look at things with new perspectives, get out of our comfort zones, make connections and explore all the options. Change is happening everywhere you look and this new moon in Gemini offers us a moment to choose our next adventure!
We’ll begin with a brief discussion and prompt for contemplation as we set our intentions for the upcoming lunar cycle. Then we’ll plant those seeds as we “bathe” in resonant sound vibrations created by quartz crystal singing bowls, a hand-hammered metal gong, and chimes to help relax the body, calm the mind, and release stored emotional energy.
Please bring:
• A yoga mat or comfortable surface to lie on
• A blanket
• A pillow or bolster
• Anything you’d like to help you feel comfortable
Allow yourself to reset, realign, and tend your garden of intention!

Attendance will be limited to 10 participants.
Laura is a mixed media artist who creates art and experiences that focus on transformation. Through her work with creativity, sound and play she empowers you to discover your authentic self and creates opportunities for inner exploration and outward expression.
Laura opens her art studio at Silver Street Studios the second Saturday each month from 12-5pm, plays sound baths and does Human Design readings at Body Mind and Soul.

General Class Information
If you need to cancel your workshop registration, please notify us 24 hours before the workshop begins. Failure to cancel a workshop registration will result in a full charge for the missed class. Our workshops often sell out and this policy allows others to enjoy our classes.
All our classes are considered to be open to age 18 and up, though specific classes may have a lower age limit set. If a lower age limit is allowed in a class, then a minor may attend but still requires an adult guardian to be present.
If your class is online, then you should receive a Zoom link via email after registration. If you do not receive an email within 48 hrs of your class, please check your Spam folders and then contact us so we can get your class information to you.
