04/19 Make & Take: The Creation of Holy Water with Ginger Jean and Joseph Serralta
In-Person at Body Mind & Soul
Join Ginger and Joseph in this wonderful class all about holy water, also known as blessing water. Used for centuries in many different ways, holy water has often been acknowledged for only one purpose in recent times — and they’d like to change that!
In this class, we’ll explore the origins, uses, and beliefs connected to holy water, along with its spiritual ties across different traditions. Ginger and Joseph will share how holy water is much more than something reserved for Sundays in religious settings, and how you can use it for everyday practicality and spiritual support. We’ll also discuss using holy water for different intentions, crystal pairings, and ways it can be incorporated into personal practice.
After the discussion, we’ll move into creating your own holy water using Joseph’s family recipe passed down for generations. Each participant will receive a bowl for mixing, essential oils to add scent and intention, crystals to amplify energy, and a bottle to take your creation home in.
In this class, you will:
• Explore the history, origins, and spiritual significance of holy water (also known as blessing water).
• Learn methods of creating it, along with blessings, prayers, and crystal recommendations to personally charge it.
• Craft your own bottle of holy water to take home, using Joseph’s family recipe passed down for years.
Light scents will be included. No prior experience needed.
Please bring (optional):
• Paper and a pen
• Water or a beverage in a closed container
This listing is for in-person participation at Body Mind & Soul's physical location.
Attendance will be limited to 12 participants.

Ginger’s metaphysical journey began young, inspired by her ancestral connections and a love for the macabre. She delights in blending old-world crafts with modern practices.
Since 2019, she has been an active part of the Body Mind & Soul community. Fascinated by crystals and their metaphysical properties, she believes they amplify energy and promote inner balance.
Her teachings and personal work explore connections to the earth, the fae, and higher beings.
Ginger’s classes are mostly hands-on. She believes true understanding comes through physical experience and active learning, bringing magic to life in a tangible, grounded, and accessible way for others.
