10/26 Make & Take: Witches Brooms 101 with Ginger Jean

Witches brooms have been used in history, lore, legends and so much more. A sacred tool for those of the old ways witches brooms have been used for decor, energy, practice and symbolism as well as the key to many witches tales.

In this class we will go over the history of witches brooms in different timelines, the different meaning and symbolism it can carry, different ways to work with one, and what different locations mean for it placement wise. Much like crystals witches brooms can be put in different areas for different energy and purposes.

Next comes the fun part! Each participant will get to decorate their own real cinnamon broom and take it home! Decorations will include different colored ribbons, crystals, herbs, charms, beads, fabric and much more that can all be attached using string or glue (there will be a slide stating what items symbolize what to help you better understand the items before you pick what to use). Feel free to bring any extra items you wish to add on for a more personal touch!

In this class you will:

  • learn the history and symbolism of witches brooms
  • craft your own broom to take home
  • have fun creating and making with other "witches"

This class will provide information over slide show so be sure to bring journal or paper and pen for writing. All crafting supplies included.

Age level: 14 and up, participants under 18 require an accompanying adult

Please bring a notebook and writing utensil, and a beverage in a closed container for hydration, if you so chose. You are welcome to bring additional personal items to add to your broom.

This listing is for in-person participation at Body Mind & Soul's physical location. Attendance will be limited to 8 participants.

 

Ginger's metaphysical journey began young, inspired by her ancestral connections and a love for the macabre. She delights in blending old-world crafts with modern practices. Since 2019, she’s been an active part of the Body Mind and Soul community. Fascinated by crystals and their metaphysical properties, she believes they amplify energy and promote inner balance. Her teachings and personal work explore connections to the earth, the fae, and higher beings. Ginger’s classes are mostly hands-on, she believes true understanding comes through physical experience and active learning, bringing magic to life in a tangible, grounded, and accessible way for others.

If you need to cancel your workshop registration, please notify us 24 hours before the workshop begins. Failure to cancel a workshop registration will result in a full charge for the missed class. Our workshops often sell out and this policy allows others to enjoy our classes.

All our classes are considered to be open to age 18 and up, though specific classes may have a lower age limit set.  If a lower age limit is allowed in a class, then a minor may attend but still requires an adult guardian to be present. 

If your class is online, then you should receive a Zoom link via email after registration. If you do not receive an email within 48 hrs of your class, please check your Spam folders and then contact us so we can get your class information to you.
