The moon is on her way to being full this Thursday December 4 in the airy sign of Gemini at 5:14pm CST. This is our last full moon for 2025. Full moons occur every month when the sun and moon are in opposite signs at the exact same degree; for this full moon the sun is at 13 degrees Sagittarius while the moon is in the opposite sign of Gemini at 13 degrees. In astrology the moon represents our moods and feelings so when the moon is full our feelings and moods tend to be amplified.
Sometimes we can feel like we’re being overwhelmed by our emotions at this time of the month. Full moons can create a sense of tension and instability; we can feel like we’re being pulled in two different directions. Full moons can bring situations to completion and they can cast light on what was previously hidden. As mentioned earlier this is also a supermoon. A supermoon occurs when the moon is full and at its closest point to the earth during its orbit thus making the moon look unusually large. Full moon supermoons can bring out the drama queen/king in all of us.
