“Look to the Stars…”
The Stars have been with us through the eons. We look to them for guidance and navigation of our lives, we create stories from them, some observe them for a greater understanding of our Universe, some look to them for inspiration, some will just stand in awe and stare at the great expanse of them simply to give them honor. Magick and Intuition are multifaceted journeys. Those journeys, like the stars, are never linear. They move, they change, and adapt.
In this class, we will explore our intuitive connection to the Celestial. We will begin with a brief meditation to call forth a Guide who will meet us in this realm and help us to ascend to meet our Star Self. This “Star Self” is the part of us that lives our sacred connection to the Universe. The one who will guide us to find our sense of wonder, imagination, and intuitive connection, especially when we get bogged down with life.
To honor our Star Self, we will intuitively create a poppet, which is an old practice in the Craft. Once we have created our poppet, we will have a longer meditation that will allow us to connect with and be introduced to and learn from our Star Self. After the meditation, we will have time for journaling, sharing, and grounding. During this class, we will also discuss the history and magick of working with the Stars, poppet dolls and their uses in the Craft (also how one should not use them).
