Have you ever wanted to learn how to meditate but didn’t know where to start? Are you someone who has meditated in the past but struggles to create a consistent practice? Meditation is for everyone and does not have to be complicated.
This class takes the guesswork out of the practice and helps set you up for meditation success. While many believe you must completely clear your mind for meditation to be effective, combining cognitive behavioral therapy, neuro-linguist programming, and mindfulness, you will learn how to create a practice grounded in your individual needs. There’s no wrong or right way to meditate as long as you have some basic tools.
In the class, you will learn visualization meditation, emotional release meditation, and the Body Scan, and progressive muscle relaxation through breath awareness. By the end of the class, you will be given the tools you need to create a practice that serves your highest and greatest good mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
This class combines breathwork with eastern and western traditions. Consider this class step one of finding true body, mind, and soul balance. Additionally, you will go home with a folder to help guide you outside of the class time.
Please bring a yoga mat and something to sit on if you need extra support. Wear comfortable clothes (preferably no skirts or jeans) and shoes you can easily remove. Please bring water in a closed container, and a journal & writing utensil.
This listing is for in-person participation at Body Mind & Soul's physical location. Attendance will be limited to 12 participants.
General Class Information
If you need to cancel your workshop registration, please notify us 24 hours before the workshop begins. Failure to cancel a workshop registration will result in a full charge for the missed class. Our workshops often sell out and this policy allows others to enjoy our classes.
All our classes are considered to be open to age 18 and up, though specific classes may have a lower age limit set. If a lower age limit is allowed in a class, then a minor may attend but still requires an adult guardian to be present.
If your class is online, then you should receive a Zoom link via email after registration. If you do not receive an email within 48 hrs of your class, please check your Spam folders and then contact us so we can get your class information to you.
