In-Person at Body Mind & Soul
Re-balance your body’s vital energies through sound and meditation, and emerge feeling refocused, refreshed and rejuvenated for the Winter Solstice!
The Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year and is the perfect time to go inward to take stock of our interior and energetic lives. Also celebrated as Midwinter or Yule, it has historically been a time to ritually celebrate the metaphorical "death" and "rebirth" of the sun, lighting candles and fires, and gathering with those close to you to make it through the dark of winter.
Sound Healing uses the power of sound to restore one’s mind and body back to a state of balance. The harmonic vibrations of traditional Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gongs and Crystal Bowls tuned to 432hz have a profound effect on the receiver, promoting healing and well being. The sounds act as a focal point, reducing and eliminating mind chatter, leading to a release of deep-rooted tensions and emotional blocks.
Please bring:
- A yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on
- A blanket, pillow, eye pillow/mask if so desired (optional)
- A bottle of water for hydration
- Notepad for journaling (optional)
You will leave this class with a sense of ease, balance and direction - the perfect gift for yourself or others!
Please note: This is a one-hour healing experience. Arrive 15 minutes early and get settled, as we cannot let participants in after the experience has started. We want everyone to have the deepest relaxation possible.
This listing is for in-person participation at Body Mind & Soul's physical location. Attendance will be limited to 10 participants.
