Vagal Reset: The Year of Calm and Balance with Danielle A. Vann
Couldn't load pickup availability
2025 has the power to be the year of calm and balance. You have the power within you to create calm and balance regardless of what this year brings. Your body has a natural “chill button” called the vagus nerve. When activated, it can help you achieve a state of calm, equilibrium, and balance—something most of us are missing during this busy time.
In this workshop, you will build a toolbox of breathing and movement that allows you to flip your chill button on! Be prepared to:
- move to the music of live crystal singing bowls
- learn how to stimulate the vagus nerve through diaphragmatic breathing exercises
- engage in body movements specifically designed to awaken the brain-body connection, which lowers stress, anxiety, reduce inflammation, and enhances your mood
- find your way to your mat for an active progressive muscle relaxation practice
- find the ultimate space of calm through vagus nerve stimulation auricular acupressure (don’t worry, there are no needles involved, only your hands)
This class combines breathwork and body movement, as it is an active class!
Please bring a yoga mat and something to sit on if you need extra support. Wear comfortable activewear (preferably no skirts or jeans) and shoes you can easily remove. Movement modifications will be offered to those who need it. Please bring water.
This class is suitable for ages 12 and up. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
This listing is for in-person participation at Body Mind & Soul's physical location. Attendance will be limited to 12 participants.
General Class Information
If you need to cancel your workshop registration, please notify us 24 hours before the workshop begins. Failure to cancel a workshop registration will result in a full charge for the missed class. Our workshops often sell out and this policy allows others to enjoy our classes.
All our classes are considered to be open to age 18 and up, though specific classes may have a lower age limit set. If a lower age limit is allowed in a class, then a minor may attend but still requires an adult guardian to be present.
If your class is online, then you should receive a Zoom link via email after registration. If you do not receive an email within 48 hrs of your class, please check your Spam folders and then contact us so we can get your class information to you.
