The moon is on her way to being full this Monday March 25 in the airy sign of Libra at 2:00 am CST. Full moons occur every month when the sun and moon are in opposite signs at the exact same degree. For this particular full moon the sun is at 5 degrees Aries while the moon is in the opposite sign of Libra at 5 degrees. Full moons can also bring situations to completion.
This full moon is also a lunar eclipse. Lunar eclipses occur when the sun, earth and moon are lined up and the earth is between the sun and moon, lunar eclipses only occur on full moons. In fact, you can think of lunar eclipses as hyped up, dramatic full moons. If we’re in denial about something or we don’t want to deal with something a lunar eclipse can come along and force us to deal with this secret side of ourselves. Eclipses occur four to six times a year and can bring great change and transformation in our lives and speaking of transformation, Pluto the astrological planet that rules great transformation is currently in the airy sign of Aquarius and will be making an aspect to this full moon in Libra. The aspect being made is a trine which has a nice, flowing vibe to it. Pluto has penetrating insight and the moon deals with our feelings and emotions so this aspect can help us deal with feelings we’ve pushed aside or repressed. We can get great psychological insight when Pluto trines the moon.
