The moon is on her way to being new this Saturday, April 30 in the earthy sign of Taurus at 3:28 pm CST. This new moon will also be a solar eclipse. New moons occur every month when the sun and moon are in the same sign at the exact same degree, this is known as a conjunction in astrology. For this particular lunation the sun and moon will be at 10 degrees Taurus. New moons are the perfect time to set new intentions and make wishes; the day before the new moon is known as the dark moon.
