In-Person at Body Mind & Soul
This class is all about the gift of giving!
Join us for a fun hands on class making our own giving candles! Everyone will get an to make their own scented candles with up to three surprises tucked inside. That way once the candle is used, by you or whoever you choose to gift it to, small gifts will be awaiting as it melts down!
In this class you'll receive:
- an empty candle jar & wax to make one candle, with different scents available
- three goodies to add in (includes crystals, carvings, jewelry, notes, etc) that you can either hand pick or choose mystery ones, to be wrapped in foil and placed in the candle while the wax is still liquid so they will be hidden inside
- information & instruction on safe candle pouring and burning techniques
The gift items will range from different crystal grade, quality, size and color so be mindful of the 3 items you pick to not over crowd your candle too much. Feel free to bring your own small items if you wish to add more!
We will make the candles on the day of the class and they will be ready for pick up as soon as the next morning to give them time to settle and fully solidify. Because of this, we will put everyone's names on their candle and will have them awaiting pick up over the following weekend & week at the shop.
This is a great class to do with friends, family or solo! We will be working with hot wax, so please be aware of that and safety waivers will be signed at the start of class. Any participants under the age of 18 will need to be assisted by a guardian during the wax pouring portion of the class.
Light reminder that we will be working with different scents. Small caution to anyone with sensitivity to smells.
All candle making supplies will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own small items to add to your candle. You are welcome to bring a notebook and writing utensil, and a beverage in a closed container for hydration, if you so chose.
This listing is for in-person participation at Body Mind & Soul's physical location. Attendance will be limited to 6 participants.
Hey! I'm Ginger, and my journey into the mystical world of metaphysics began at the age of 13, inspired by the rich traditions of my Gypsy heritage on my birth mothers side making my seek out ancient lore and the unknown. Since 2019, I've immersed myself in the vibrant community at Body Mind and Soul, where I passionately share the profound wisdom of crystals, herbs, and energy as an employee and helper on our social media.
I have a deep fascination with crystals and their diverse metaphysical properties, believing they can amplify energies and foster inner harmony. Through my teachings and personal practice, I explore these unique qualities—understanding their healing vibrations and selecting crystals aligned with specific intentions and spiritual growth. I integrate crystals into daily rituals, enhancing spiritual connection, unity and connection to the divine. Herbalism is another integral part of my journey, where I use herbs not only for physical benefits but also as tools for energy work and spiritual enhancement. I guide others in harnessing the energetic essence of herbs, exploring how they can connect with crystals to deepen practices and align with the natural rhythms of the Earth.
Since 2023, I've had the pleasure of teaching and mentoring students on their spiritual journeys. My approach blends ancient wisdom with practical applications, emphasizing personal spiritual practices that honor nature and promote harmony within oneself. My classes are great for beginners and those who already hold vast knowledge but may be looking for new perspective, a refresh or to just meet like minded people in the community. I try to make my classes as age friendly as possible depending on the class as i find it important for all ages to feel welcomed on this journey of self discovery. I hope to continue sharing in the future and find new ways to help different individuals become more open to the endless possibilities laid in front of them.
Beyond teaching, I find fulfillment in deity work, connecting with spiritual entities to explore their influence on personal growth and understanding. I also enjoy journaling for spiritual reflection, creating sacred spaces for meditation, altars, candle work and rituals, and exploring various forms of divination for deeper insights into life's mysteries. Rooted in my Gypsy ancestry, I integrate ancient practices into daily rituals that honor the Earth and its interconnected web of life as well as old beliefs and traditions. This connection informs my approach to metaphysics, emphasizing reverence for nature and the harmonious relationship between us, the world and the universe.
